The Waterfront is a Main Attraction at Evergreen Lodge
Waterfront fun is the main attraction at Evergreen, with 1,000' of perfect beach and a gradually-sloping sandy lake bottom for safe swimming fun. Many other activities are yours for the enjoying, too!
Our beach is drop-off free and a sunbather’s delight. Whether you're swimming, skipping stones, building sand castles or just resting in the shade, you'll love the sand beach and the clear, clean water at Big Sand Lake.
WATERCRAFT & BOATING
- A 9.9hp or 15hp motor with a 14 foot Lund boat may be rented for the week or the day. A 14-foot Lund boat is available for rent if you are bringing your own motor. There is generally one dock space available per cabin.
- We have a number of kayaks, paddle boards and canoes that are available for use without charge. Required life jackets are provided also free of charge. Infant to 4X sizes life jackets are available. There is a pontoon available for rent.
- Guests are welcome to bring their own fishing boats, ski boats, kayaks, canoes or sailboats. We request NO JET SKIS, PLEASE.
No boat lifts or extra dock spaces are available. Extra boats must be beached or anchored off-shore. - A cement boat ramp and a gas pump are also located at the Lodge. Tractor service is available if needed for launching.
